Liaoning province is located in Northeast China bordering Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) in the East,and it is bounded by the Yellow Sea and the Bohai Sea in the south.It is a communications hub connecting the Eurasian Continental Bridge, and also a quite beautiful place to visit.

Ethnic Minority Group There are 52 minorities, including Manchu, Mongolian, Korean, and Sibo ethnicities. Of the minorities, the Manchu and Sibo population rank the first nationwide.
Climate Liaoning has a temperate continental monsoonal climate, with a hot, rainy summer; a long, cold winter with little snow; and a short, windy spring. It is annual temperature is 6-11oC,the best time to go there may be Autumn.
Cities and Highlights Shenyang, capital of Liaoning Province, is the largest city in Northeast China.There is a Manchu version of the Forbidden City known as the Shenyang Imperial Palace, it is one of the two most intact imperial architectural complexes ever existing in China, only second to the Forbidden City,it is a museum now.

The East Tomb and North Tomb is burial sites that the emperors who built the Imperial Palace . Qianshan Mountain:People love to come here to walk along the splendid trails to its lofty peaks and ancient temples. A walk around Qianshan can give you the memory of a perfect day. Southeast of Shenyang is Benxi, which has the largest water cave in Asia. Take a ride on the sightseeing boat and enter into the magic and mystery of the stalactite formations that have formed over millions of years is quite an impressive experience.

Dalian is one of the most cleanest and beautiful coastal cities in China.Previously heavily influenced by Russia,it possesses architecture and restaurants reflecting both it's Russian and Japanese heritage,and so does the whole province.

The Golden Pebble Beach Resort is a famous national resort. The best bathing beach in Dalian and the Natural Geoogical Museum are in the resort. The Bingyu Valley,240 kilometers (near 150 miles) north of downtown Dalian,is reputed as Mini Guilin,it has special, ragged rocks and cliffs. There are many caves, in the largest one of which a temple had once been built. The uncontaminated valley reserves itself clean and clear waters, and nice vegetation.

Aside from the ones noted above, there are also: seaside of Lushun,Fenghuang Mountain; Shenya Aquarium in Xinghai Bay Resort,Phoenix Mountain, and others.All of them are places that attract you more than you think.
Great taste Liaoning cuisine is characterized by its use of strong flavors, salt and oil.The most famous dishes are Shenyang Laobian ravioli, white pork with bloody intestines , bear's paw (mostly not real bear's paw but substitute), Mongolian pie, etc.There's abundant seafood in Dalian, such as shrimps, oysters and clams.
