Location: in Qiaojiabao Village, 12 km northeast from the town of Qixian County, Shanxi Province and 50 km to Taiyuan. Entrance ticket: RMB 30
Transportation: It is conveniently located in Qixian County either from Taiyuan, capital of Shanxi or from the ancient city of Pingyao. In Qixian, there is a train station and a long distance bus station. Within Qixian, the motor tricycle is the main means of transportation. If going to Qiao's Mansion, one can take the motor tricycle to the second grade road (RMB 2/, then change to a long distance bus going northward at the east side of the road (RMB 2) and arrive 20 minutes later.
An even more convenient way is to drive or take a taxi, starting from Taiyuan along the Dayun Highway (Taiyuan-Yuancheng). Qiao's Mansion is by this highway.
Accommodation: There are quite a few family run hotels near the parking area. Most are newly built and they usually only provide beds at a price at RMB 10 each. Near the mansion is the Qiaojia Hotel (Tel: 0354-5321555), three star level, RMB 365/standard room and RMB 168 or 143/Ordinary room.
