In the scene Chen xiang was led by little monkey, his best friend, to meet Sun Wukong .Sun Wukong wants to test him on purpose to see whether his mind of saving mother is really loyal. In the scene Chen xiang dare to say that Sun Wukong  has't mother, because Sun Wukong was born from the rock.

沉 香 :师父, 你总该知道没有妈妈是多么痛苦的事吧.

沉 香 :啊....我知道了,你没有妈妈. 失去妈妈的痛苦你永远也不会明白

 a): xīn gān qíng yuàn
       心   甘    情     愿:(adv); I t means being most willing to do sth or doing sth  with one's heart and soul.In chinese it can be used the phrase 乐意 expressing the same meaning.
eg: 精神上心甘情愿接受的，但肉体上却很虚弱
      The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak
 
   b): tòng kǔ
          痛   苦:(n);It means pain,suffering or agony.精神或身体感到非常难受的事或人感到难过.In chinaese it can be used the phrase 苦恼 or 悲痛 to some extent expressing the same meaning.
eg:这场战争给许许多多的人带来了痛苦.
This war has caused widspread human suffering.
