Mary, the Erlang spirit's younger sister, who came from the heaven, fell in love with Liu Yanchang of the mundane world. This behavior offended the heaven rules so she was put under the Mount Huashan by the Erlang spirit .Chenxiang ,Mary's son , was told by land immortal in the heaven palace and knew his own experience and immediately brought his mother's lotus lantern to run away into the world After experiencing all sorts of tribulations and tests with the strong wills and courage,under Sun Wukong’s directions, finally he defeated the Erlang spirit and cleaved Huashan mountain, saving his mother.In the scene,Chenxiang and his mother are boating in the lake,with his mother telling him what's the happiness.

沉香：妈妈，你不想让灯亮吗？
Chen Xiang: Mom, you don't want the lantern light?

妈妈：不，妈妈很想让它亮起来。但是现在不行，这盏灯不是一盏平平常常的灯。
Mom：I do, but I can't do it right now, for this is not an ordinary lantern.

沉香：那它是？
Chen Xiang：Then it's what?

妈妈：它是一盏神灯。
Mom: It's a magic lantern.

沉香: 神灯?
Chen Xiang: Magic lantern?

沉香: 妈妈,它为什么是盏神灯呢?

妈妈: 因为,因为坏人都怕它,它能给好人带来幸福。
Mom: Because, because the bad all fear it and it could bring happiness to the good.

Chen Xiang: Ah! I see. I feel the happiest when staying with Mom. Mom, let's get the lantern alight all throught. I wanna stay with mom for ever and enjoy the happiness for ever.

    a) xìng  fú .
        幸     福        幸福means happiness and felicity, being satisfied with your life in a relative long period.
        eg. 经过奋斗，我们才能得到幸福。
               We can achieve happiness only through struggling.

    b) píng  píng  cháng  cháng  
          平     平         常        常             平常means ordinary and plain, nothing extraordinary and 平平常常 is just another expression of 平常 in oral  Chinese. It's common to double every character in one word in chinese, such as 普普通通 is from 普通，简简单单 is from 简单。
        eg. 这项工作不需要特别的技能，只要平平常常的能力就够了。
