Q.11. What should I do if I fail to get registered?
Failed registration is normally due to the invalid user name. Under this circumstance, the user name is to be revised and submitted. Furthermore, all the entries on the registration page are required to be filled in or selected, otherwise, the registration cannot be completed either.
Q.12. How can I login?
After the completion of registration, candidates should shut off the registration page and login on the registration sign-up page . After you successfully log in, you will see a webpage like that in Picture VI.
Q.13. Can I change my registration information after I submit it to the registration system?
Once submitted to the system, you will not be allowed to change your user name and your passport number/ Resident’s ID number. You can change any other information till the registration cut-off date. After log in, click “修改” (revise) button to change the information and your personal information will be revised on clicking “提交” (submit) button.
Q.14. What if I submit wrong passport number/ Resident’s ID number?
Since you cannot change your user name and passport number, such information should be true and accurate before registration. Please abandon your current user name and register anther one if you have submitted the wrong passport number.
Q.15. What should I do if I cannot input Chinese characters?
Candidates are advised to know how to input Chinese characters, especially about your relevant information in Chinese. Or, you may ask someone who can type in Chinese characters to enter the relevant information and save it in advance so that you can copy such information during the online registration.
You may also type in your English name in the field where you are required to input your Chinese name.
Q.16. How can I upload the photo?
After login, click “浏览” (browse) at the up right corner of the webpage and select the photo file. Then, click “上传照片” (upload the photo). Confirmation concerning the completion of the upload will be displayed in a box.
Q.17. How can I upload the photo in a cyber cafe where I cannot use my flash disk?
You may send your photo into your e-mail box in advance and use the photo from the e-mail box during registration.
Q.18. Can I adjust and edit the photo after uploading?
Yes. You may check the photo you have submitted. If you are not satisfied with it, you can upload your photo again.
Attention: Twisted photos are due to the inappropriate proportion of the photo (it should be a 30 x 40 mm photo). To edit such photos, you may use the “画图” (Paint) tool in “附件” (Accessories) or soft wares like Photoshop. After importing the new photo, please refresh the page and check the photo.
Q.19. How can I access to the HSK reservation and payment page?
After successfully submitting the photo, you may get “您已经提交照片，点击这里进入考试预订和交费页面... ...”(You have submitted the photo. Please click here to make reservation and payment.) Click the button and make the reservation and pay the test fee.
Q.20. What should I do to make the reservation?
Go to the reservation and payment page (See Picture VII). Select the test type, test date, test venue and click "预定所选考试" (Confirm the Reservation). With that, you may see the instruction that reads “"您目前有效的预定（但还没有交费）如下，请及时交费。"(Your valid reservation is as follows:
Please pay the test fee on the specified time) Detailed information concerning the candidate’s reservation be shown in the box.
