大连位于中国辽东半岛的最南端。东濒黄海，西临渤海，人口590万，是东北地区最具经济活力和发展潜力的地区。它是一座充满现代气息的滨海城市，被称为中国北方的“浪漫之都”。
Dalian lies on the southernmost tip of China’s Liaodong Peninsula, with the Yellow Sea to the east and the Bohai Sea to the west. With a population of 5.9 million, it is a very dynamic city with great economic potential in the northeast part of China. It is a modern, coastal city, regarded as north China’s “Romance Capital”.

韩 佳：渊源，应该说“美极了”。我们经常用一个形容词加上“极了”来表示程度深。我们可以说“这里的广场多极了”。其实，光在大连市区内就有上百①个广场，而且每 个广场的风格都不一样。
Han Jia: Dalian is a beautiful and romantic city with countless stories and fascinating scenery.
Wang Yuanyuan: When we came on the way here, I found that Dalian seems to have many squares. Very beautiful indeed!
Han jia: Yuanyuan, you should say “mei ji le”. We often use an adjective followed by “ji le”to express the meaning of “so” or “extremely”. In fact, in the urban area of Dalian alone, there are nearly 100 squares, and each has a different style.
