永嘉昆剧团 Yongjia Kunqu Opera Troupe

永嘉昆剧简称“永昆”，是昆曲大家庭中独具魅力的一个支流，在永昆的传统剧目中仍保留了许多弥足珍贵的“南戏”声腔及独特的艺术风格。

二十世纪40年代末，永嘉昆剧逐渐凋零，仅存一、二个班社在乡间流动。1951年，政府有关部门对原昆班的零散艺人重新组合，成立了“温州巨轮昆剧团”。1957年“巨轮昆剧团”划归永嘉县管辖，改称“永嘉昆剧团”。同年7月，《荆钗记 见娘〉一折参加浙江省第二届戏曲观摩汇演获演出奖；昆曲大师俞振飞先生观看演出后给予很高评价。

“文革”开始不久，永嘉昆剧团被撤销。至70年重新建立成永嘉昆剧团。1979年秋，浙江省举办迎国庆30周年戏曲汇演，永嘉演出的《百花公主》由唐湜编剧，朱碧金作曲、刘文华主演，获优秀创作奖和优秀演出奖。
1984年，永嘉昆剧团解体，（析置越剧团），永昆从此淡出舞台。直至1999年，永嘉县委、县府决定建立“永嘉昆曲传习所”，编制12名。

2000年，在第一届中国昆曲艺术节上，永嘉昆曲传习所演出的《张协状元》荣获“戏曲学会奖”、“文华新剧目奖”。2002年在第二届中国昆剧节上，永昆传习所演出的《杀狗记》获优秀演出奖；2004年重排《杀狗记》参加第七届中国艺术节暨温州市第九届戏剧节演出，一举夺得优秀编剧奖、作曲奖等13个奖项。

为了重振永昆昔日雄风，2005年永嘉县委、县府决定恢复建立永嘉昆剧团（与永昆传习所合署），编制增至40名，调整加强了领导班子。今年5月，永昆面向全国招聘演员、演奏员，现已进入录用阶段。

A Brief Introduction to Yongjia Kunqu Opera Troupe

Yongjia Kunqu Opera Troupe, Yong Kun in brief, is the one from the big family of Kunqu Opera with its own charm. In the traditional theatrical pieces of Yong Kun, many priceless operatic tunes of "Southern Drama" and unique artistic styles have been still retained.

In the end of 1940s, Yongjia Kunqu Opera declined gradually; there were only one or two troupes. In 1951, the government related department regrouped the individual actors from the original Kunqu Opera troupes and set up "Wenzhou Julun Kunqu Opera Troupe". And it became under the charge of Yongjia country in 1957, then was renamed "Yongjia Kunqu Opera Troupe". In July of the same year, The Story of the Wooden Hairpin, Reunion of Mother and Son won the Excellent Performance Award when taking part in the 2nd Zhejiang Opera Festival while Zhang Xinmei and Yang YInyou won the first performance Award. Yu Zhenfei, the master of Kunqu Opera spoke highly of it after watching the performance.

After the beginning of the Cultural Revolution, Yongjia Kunqu Opera Troupe was dismissed till the year of 1970 when it was rebuilt. In the autumn of 1979, Zhejiang Province held the Opera Festival for Clebrating the 30th Anniversary of the Founding of People's Republic of China, the play Bai Hua Princess which was written by Tang Shi, composed by Zhu Bijin and acted by Luiu Wenhua received the Excellent Creation and Excellent Performance Awards.

Since 1984, when Yongjia Kunqu Opera Troupe dismissed, Yong Kun disappeared from the stage and was not reborn until the Yongjia Kunqu Opera Inheritance and Study Institute with 12 members was founded by the Yongjia country committee and the country government.

In the year 2000, the play Number One Scholar Zhangxie by Yongjia Kunqu Opera Inheritance and Study Institute won the Opera Academy Awards and the Wenhua New Play Awards in the 1st Chinese Kunqu Opera Art Festival. In the 2nd Chinesr Kunqu Opera Art Festival in 2002, the play A Story of Killing a Dog won the Excellent Performance Award, and after being reset, it won thirteen awards including the Excellent Screenplay and the Excellent Composition Awards in the 7th Chinese Art Festival, namely the 9th Wenzhou Opera Festival.

In order to regain the success of Yongjia Kunqu Opera in the past, in June 2005, the Yongjia country committee and the country government decided to resume Yongjia Kunqu Opera Troupe, which was combined with the former: Yongjia Vonservatory of Kunqu Opera and the authorized posts increased to 40 with an adjustment of the leading team. In May 2006, Yong Kun began to invite nationwide applications for actors and musical performers. Up to now, they have begun to employ the eligible applications.
