1967年生，国家一级演员，工小生。1985年毕业于江苏省戏剧学校昆剧科，师从高继荣、周传瑛、石小梅。主演过《长生殿 惊变埋玉 迎像哭像》、《白蛇传 断桥》、《荆钗记 见娘》、《牡丹亭 惊梦 拾画》、《西游记 认子》、《幽闺记 踏伞》，并在《风筝误》、《绣襦记》等大戏中担任主演和重要角色。
曾获首届中国昆剧青年演员交流演出“兰花优秀表演奖”，第二届江苏省“红梅奖”戏曲大赛金奖。现为中国戏剧家协会会员、江苏省戏剧家协会会员。曾出访日本、台湾、香港等国家和地区演出。

Qian Zhenrong's Artistic Experience
As a National First-Class Actor, Qian Zhenrong majors in the performance of Xiao Sheng (the young male character).After his graduation from the Department of Kunqu Opera, Jiangsu Drama School in 1985, Qian received his further training under Mr. Gao Jirong, Mr. Zhou Chuanying and Ms. Shi Xiaomei.
The roles that Qian has ever played are as follows:
Li Longji, the emperor of Tang Dynasty in the scenes Jing Bian Mai Yu (Being Overtaken By the Linsurgence and The Exequies of Yang Yuhuan), Ying Xiang Ku Xiang (Receivingthe Statuary of Yang Yuhuan and Weeping Over Her Miserable Death) of Chang Sheng Dian(Palace of Ever-Lasting Life);
Xu Xian in the scene Duan Qiao (The Encounter Beside the Duan Qiao Bridge) of Bai She Zhuan (The Legend of the White Snake);
Wang Shipeng in the scene Jian Niang (Reunion with Mother) of Jing Chai Ji (The Story of a Thornwood Hairpin);
Liu Mengmei in the Scene Jing Meng(Pleasant Surprising in a Drama) and Shi Hua (Picking Up a Partrait) of Mu Dan Ting (The Peony Pavilion);
Xuan Zang in the scene Ren Zi (Identifying the Son) of Xi You Ji (Pilgrimage to the West);
Jiang Shilong in the scene Ta San (The Acquaintanceship through an Umbrella) of You Gui Ji (The Story of a Damsel) and so forth.
In addition, Qian has acted the key roles in the operas Feng Zheng Wu (Mistakes Caused by Kites), Xiu Ru Ji (Embroidered Padded Mattress) and so forth.
Qian Zhenrong has been honored the "Orchid Prize of Performance (Second Prize)" of the China First Mutual-learning Performance Competition of Young Actors/Actresses of Kunqu Opera and the Golden Prize of the "Red Plum-Blossom Prize" of the Second Opera Performance Competition of Jiangsu Province. Qian is now a member of Jiangsu Drama Artists Association and China Drama Artists Association as well. He has been invited to perform in such countries and regions as Japan, Taiwan and Hong Kong, and so on.
