Mung beans relieve heat, so almost every household cooks mung bean soup during the summer. However, it requires some skill
to make a delicious soup. You may try the following methods:
1) Wash the beans, boil them for 20 minutes, remove them from the water and then place them in a pot. Add some cool water, and stew for 40 minutes
2) Wash the beans, put them in a thermos, add boiling water and cover. After three or four hours, the mung beans will swell and turn soft.
3) Wash and dry the beans. Fry the beans in an iron pot for about 10 minutes, and then add some water to stew. The beans will be
thoroughly cooked within a short time.
4) Wash the beans and then boil them for 10 minutes. After the beans turn cool, put them in the freezer. Take them out four hours later and then stew for 15 minutes.
5) Wash the beans and let them drip dry. Soil the water in a pot, and then add the mung beans. The water should cover the beans. Stew the beans, and add some boiling water as the pot begins to dry. Stew for about 30 minutes, add some sugar, and the soup is done.
After the soup cools, you may put it in the freezer. Ice cream bricks made from munq beans taste delicious.
