Make Your Own Vegetarian Zongzi

Ingredients 
  1,000 grams of glutinous rice, 250 grams of peanuts, 40 reed leaves, and a bundle of cotton threads.
Coating Materials
  1l2 cup of soy sauce paste, 1.5 table spoons of fine white sugar, 2 table spoons of tomato sauce, 1/2 tea spoon of ground pepper, 2 table spoons of ground rice, and a cup of water.
Seasonings
  1 table spoon of salt, 1 table spoon of ground pepper, and some powdered peanuts
Directions 
1. Wash the peanuts, soak them in salty water for a night and drip-dry;
2. Wash the glutinous rice, soak it in salty water for four hours and drip-dry. Make the fillings by mixing the glutinous rice, Bait and ground pepper;
3. Overlap two reed leaves, fold them into a dou shape at the one-third point, and add some filling. Tie it with the cotton threads, and stew in boiling water for two hours;
4. Boil a cup of water, pour it slowly into the ground rice and mix. Add the soy sauce paste, tomato sauce and ground pepper and blend evenly; and
5. Coat the zongzi with peanut powder or paste before eating.
