Dragon Boat Festival is an intersting holiday in Taiwan.The festival is celebrated on 5th of May on the lunar calendar. Before the festival, people prepare zongzi and cook tranditional Chinese food. Zongzi is mad of rice and meat in bamboo leaves. They also buy some artemistic vulgaris. It is a kind of grass. Chinese legend says the grass can help to avoid bugs and misforturn. In the morning of holiday, almost every family hangs the grass on the outside door. At midday, people try to stand eggs on the floor. Legend says if you can let eggs stand stright, you will have a good fortune next year. After that, people eat food and chat about festival stories. All family watches dragon boat races on television. It is a popular sport.
