He Zehui (1914-)graduated from the Department of Physics of Tsinghua University in 1936 and received her Ph.D from German High Industrial University. She became a member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1980. He Zehui and her husband, Qian Sanqiang, also a well-known nuclear physicist, were crowned as "The Curies of China" in the physics circle of the world.
