When it comes to raising children, people are heavily influenced by culture and the way they were raised. There are some universal similarities—every mother strives to be the perfect parent, and many want to be close to their own mothers for support. But the differences are apparent in the small, everyday things. There's no right or wrong just different approaches to raising children.
Kim's three-year-old daughter Lily knows the American approach used by her mommy is different from the Chinese style used by her daddy. In answer to the question "Is mommy or daddy better?" she has come up with an extremely clever response:”If you ask me in English I'll tell you mommy is better, but if you ask me in Chinese, I'll tell you daddy is better,“she says.
