Although dumplings -making machines are now available, dumplings are usually prepared by family members-by hand. Perhaps what makes Creating so important during Spring Festival is not so much the taste, but the fact everyone rolls up his/her sleeves to Creating dumplings. Making good-looking dumplings, by the way, is not easy. You must place a portion of filling in the center of a small, thin pancake, wrap the pancake into a half-moon-shaped dumpling and seal the edges with your fingers.
