Vancouver, one of the world's most beautiful cities, is seeing series of restaurant shootings lately, sending warnings about the city's security situation.
Two masked gunmen opened fire inside an upscale restaurant on the city's west side Saturday, injuring a woman and a man, reports said Sunday.
The shooting happened Saturday night at Quattro on Fourth, an award-winning Italian restaurant. Police alleged the male victim has possible gang connections.
This is the second restaurant shooting in the last month in Vancouver. On Aug. 7, two men were killed and six injured after two gunmen burst into the Fortune Happiness Chinese Restaurant in East Vancouver.
Police say there is no reason to believe the two incidents are related.
