BEIJING, Feb. 1 (Xinhua) -- The German swimming team took the title of men's 4X100m medley relay at China Open on Friday.
Paul Biedermann, men's 200m freestyle winner earlier in the morning, anchored the Germans to a winning time of 3:44.40 after Helge Meeuw opened a lead in the first leg.
Helge said after the race that the best strategy was always to swim as fast as possible.
The Republic of Korea won the silver in 3:45.52 and Kazakhstan took the bronze in 3:46.74.
