NAIROBI, Sept. 6 (Xinhua) -- Angola's soccer team, comprising of seven players from Petro de Luanda, five European and two Egypt based players, are due in Nairobi on Thursday for Saturday's African Cup of Nations qualifier against hosts, the Harambee Stars.
Angola, best known as Palancas Negras, will be boosted by the presence of leading striker Flavio Amado of Egyptian side Ah Ahly.
Flavio was responsible for 3-1 thrashing of the Harambee Stars in the first encounter in Luanda in October last year.
However, the Saturday's Group Six match will be a mere formality as the east Africans have already bowed out of the qualifiers.
Angola have already won the group and clinched the automatic qualification berth while Kenya are out of the reckoning and can only play for pride.
However, the central Africans have played out their intentions by bringing their established stars.
Apart from Flavio, other players expected to feature in the final match against the Harambee Stars are Swedish-based midfielder Figueiredo and Metz defender Delgado who is based in France.
Meanwhile, the Harambee Stars camp was boosted by the arrival of Czech Republic-based Patrick Oboya who is expected to boost Kenya's striking force.
Kenya coach Jacob Mulee said Dennis Oliech, newly signed with French Ligue One side Auxerre, was expected to link up with the team this week.
But Mulee ruled out Macdonald Mariga saying there had been no indication from his new club Parma of Italy that he will be released for the tie.
Palancas Negras currently tops the group with 13 points. The Harambee Stars lies third and headed nowhere with three points behind Eritrea on eight points. Swaziland lies bottom in the group with two points.
Each group winner qualifies automatically for Ghana where they will be joined by the top three runners-up from the groups made up of four teams each.
