OSAKA, Aug. 30 (Xinhua) -- American Tyson Gay completed a golden double after winning the men's 200 meters title at the world championships here on Thursday.
Gay, who won the 100m in 9.85 last Sunday, clocked 19.76 seconds for the win and broke the world championships record of 19.79 set by fellow American Michael Johonson in the 1995 worlds.
Jamaica's Usain Bolt won the silver in 19.91 and Wallace Spearmon took the bronze in 20.05.
