China, Germany, Poland and France reach semis at fencing World Championships

(BEIJING, April 19) -- China has beaten Romania 36-33 to reach the semifinals of the Women's Team Epee being held today in the FIE World Championships in Beijing. Germany beat Hungary 24-23, Poland beat Italy 45-33 and France beat Russia 43-42 to advance as well. The semfinals are scheduled to begin at 2:00 p.m. today.
