(BEIJING, February 4) -- Croatian high jumper and world champion Blanka Vlasic dominated the 32nd Arnstadt High Jump meet in Germany, clearing every height on her first attempt and winning the Arnstadt competition at 2.03 m, which is two centimeters higher than her best mark.

The 24-year-old tried to clear 2.06 m, but gave up after two attempts.

The Athens 2004 Olympic high jump champion, Russian Yelena Slesarenko, finished second at 2.01 m, her best mark this season. She was followed by Ukraine's Vita Palamar at 1.99 m. German high jump hopeful Ariane Friedrich, who joined the 2m club in Glasgow, was fourth at 1.96 m.

Russia's 23-year-old high jump prodigy, Andre Silnov, won at 2.37 m on his second attempt. But his attempts at 2.39 m and 2.41 m were unsuccessful.

Sweden's Stefan Holm and Russia's Jaroslav Rybakov finished sececond and third at 2.35 m.
