BEIJING, Feb. 2 (Xinhua) -- China won the men's 200 meters freestyle relay with a narrow lead in China Open here on Saturday morning.
The Chinese anchor swimmer Zhang Lin overtook his German rival in the final lap to touch the wall first in a time of seven minutes and 23.15 seconds.
Germany took the silver in 7:24.59 and Republic of Korea got the bronze in 7:37.31.
Zhang also snatched a gold for China in the just-concluded men's400m freestyle in a national record time of 3:45.04.
