BIH guests experience the warm Olympic atmosphere in Beijing

(BEIJING, Nov. 20) -- Marijan Kvesic, Chair of the Bosnia-Herzegovina Olympic Committee, arrived at the Number Three Middle School affiliated with Beijing Normal University Tuesday afternoon. He and his company wanted to personally absorb the warm atmosphere of the "People's Olympics."

Beijing Normal University's Number Three Middle School Principal Ji Yingchun took advantage of a multimedia presentation to introduce Kvesic's group to some basic information about the school. Principal Ji promised that during the 2008 Beijing Olympics, the Middle School's teachers and students would cheer for Bosnian-Herzegovinian athletes to wish them luck.

Mr. Kvesic gave a warm speech, stressing that this trip to Beijing was mainly to inspect the preparations made for Beijing's Olympics, in addition to checking out the sports grounds and the competition environment. Visiting Beijing University's Number Three Middle School was a very important stop on his trip. After listening to the introduction made by the school, he was very pleased and inspired, and is very confident in the success of the 2008 Olympic Games. Kvesic stated that upon returning to his country, he would contact a Bosnian School to form an allegiance with the Middle School in order to foster friendly cooperation between the two nations.

At the Forum

After the welcoming presentation, Kvesic paid a visit to a school display featuring the Olympic Games, and was invited to personally participate in the school's activities.
