Beiluyuan School presents a souvenir to Zimbabwean ambassador.
(BEIJING, September 3) -- In a recent visit to Beiluyuan School in Fangshan District of Beijing, the Zimbabwean ambassador to China promised to get in touch with the Prince Edward School in Harare as soon as possible to twin them for an Olympic education program.
At the invitation of the Beijing school, a three-member delegation led by Ambassador Christopher H. Mutswangwa toured it and had a pleasant meeting with headmaster Zhang Wenge, who expressed his students' wish to find a Zimbabwean partner school to carry out their Heart-to-Heart Olympic education scheme.
The teachers and the leading officials of the district took the visitors to the classrooms and the sports ground, where they played together. Then the host and the visitors made and ate Chinese dumplings together. They appear to have enjoyed themselves thoroughly.
