FIFA inspectors visited Tianjin, the co-host city of the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games football competitions, on January 30, 2008. FIFA spokesman Nicolas Maingot said the world's football governing body was very satisfied with the preparations by Tianjin. "Tianjin had the experience to hold the successful 2007 women's World Cup. Both the venues and hotels have met the standards set by FIFA. I believe that Tianjin has made a good preparation."
